Jeanne de Salzmann (1889 – 1990) was the daughter of the famous Swiss architect Jules Louis Allemand. She was a French-Swiss dance teacher and a close pupil of the spiritual teacher G. I. Gurdjieff. She was responsible for transmitting his teaching through the Gurdjieff Foundations, as well as through other formal and informal groups throughout the world. She played a major role in the realizing of the 1977 movie Meetings with Remarkable Men, based on Gurdjieff’s book. She died in 1990 at the age of 101.
